Planillo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and name (optional) when you register
• Planner content: the notes and entries you write in your planner
• Usage data: basic server logs (IP address, timestamps) for security purposes
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details

How we use your data

• To provide and maintain your planner service
• To send account-related emails (password reset, subscription notices)
• To process payments securely through Stripe
• To improve the service

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to anyone
• We do not show you targeted or behavioural ads
• We do not share your planner content with third parties
• We do not track you across the web

Sponsors

Planillo may display sponsor logos on its public website (landing page and pricing page). Sponsors are companies that support Planillo's development. Sponsors do not have access to your data, your planner content, or any personal information. Sponsor logos are clearly marked as "Supported by".

Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments. When you subscribe, you interact with Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe may collect and process your payment information according to their Privacy Policy. We receive only your subscription status — not your payment card details.

Data storage

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Data retention

We keep your account and planner data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days. Stripe may retain payment records as required by law.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party cookies are set by Planillo (Stripe may set its own cookies on the payment page).
